Sunday School

Sunday School is for Everyone!

2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

At Conover First Methodist, we believe that the Bible is God’s inspired Word, absolute truth. Scripture is the center of all of our teaching and instruction.

Sunday School and Small Group Bible Study is offered weekly for all ages in the hour between our Contemporary and Traditional Worship Services, starting at 10:00 a.m. For a list of classes, click the button below. To learn about any additional Bible Studies hosted throughout the week, check the latest newsletter (on this website) or contact our office.

On Sunday mornings between 10:00AM – 10:45AM, we invite you to take part in a small group study we call “Sunday School.”  Adults (College-aged & above) may choose from five different classes. There are classes of various sizes and styles. Ushers can direct you to the location of classes. Feel free to visit each one until you find the best fit for you.

Elementary-level classes (Grades K-5) are age-based with adult teachers. Middle school (Grades 6-8), high school (Grades 9-12) and college-aged/young adults have separate classes.

We have a paid nursery director, Miss Pilar Tobar, with adult volunteer assistants, and a well-equipped nursery for ages 0-3 years.

To learn more or provide guidance with finding the class that would best fit your needs, please speak to an usher or contact the church office.
